On Wednesday, February 11th, 2015, Carrigan’s Public House hosted Cupid’s Cash-In, a Pre-Valentine’s Party, to benefit the Paul Meyers Foundation.
BIRMINGHAM, Alabama – A memorial golf tournament in honor of Paul Meyers, who passed away from a heart condition while running a half marathon last year, took place on Saturday, April 6 with the goal of raising $11,378 for a medical mission trip to Haiti.
On Wednesday, October 1, Piggly Wiggly hosted the first annual Wine Showcase to benefit THE DANIEL PROJECT, a mission of the Paul Meyers Foundation.
The inaugural Paul Meyers Memorial Golf Tournament surpassed its fundraising goal.
On December 10, The Paul Meyers Foundation welcomed friends and family to Avondale Brewery to celebrate the non-profit’s formation. An eleven piece band, “Power Play,” serenaded the crowd with hits from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s.
